Education

I obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Ryerson University in 2007.
After that, my practice was based in neurosurgery and critical care. I also went on to become a professor at Humber College and University of Toronto teaching various parts of the Critical Care Nursing Certificate to nurses who were being trained in critical care.

To further my knowledge as a leader I enrolled in a Master’s in Nursing program and shortly thereafter transitioned to become a Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from the Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Toronto in 2015.

As an NP, I worked in the areas of neurosurgery, spine surgery and cardiovascular surgery (where I am still actively practicing). I also started developing my passion practice – preventative healthcare and cosmetic dermatology. I trained at the Canadian Board of Aesthetics Medicine and learnt from top aesthetics practitioners in the industry.

I believe that our healthcare system would benefit from an approach of preventative medicine – i.e. focusing on maintenance of health and beauty, rather then dealing with the consequences of its deterioration later on in life. In addition, there are many ways to help your body rebuild and regenerate in natural ways (for instance using PRP and microneedling!). Of course, sometimes treatment with medications is necessary and effective but the best results can be achieved with the combination of both!
